About
Battery are forging new sonic pathways but they are by no means newcomers to the scene. They have produced under various guises for the last 20 years and have released music on some of the biggest labels in Dance music. Battery's stripped back to the roots arrangements and high production finesse caught the ear of Drum & Bass label bosses across the board. This resulted in releases on Spearhead, Renegade Hardware, ProgRam and Hospital. Goldie's iconic label - Metalheadz - has become the home of the duo after the release of two successful EPs. Their live sets are like their music: a forward-thinking futurism that encapsulates the genre's unmistakable roots and foundation. Under their previous guises, Battery have toured across Asia, America and Europe and have laid down bass-heavy live sets in clubs and festivals across the UK
