MAC-V

MAC-V, Jungle/Drum-N-Bass DJ and producer extraordinaire from the Netherlands has been rocking dedicated crowds from Amsterdam (NL) to Quebec (CA) all the way back to London (GB). Globally respected but still the humble guy that he once was, is and always will be! He can bring you to places where you normally cannot come. All done with his music. Imagine yourself in army fatigues, laying in the bushes. It is dark, the tension is real, you are sweating from the tropical heat. All of a sudden there is this heavy deep bass feeling in your stomach. You are surrounded by atmospheric grooves and dystopian soundscapes. There is no use to resist. His chopped up breaks will hit you hard. Just surrender yourself to the sounds of MAC-V and his imprint Guerilla Bass Records. Releasing just them obscure militant Jungle and Drum-N-Bass vibes with a nineties feel dragged into the now-era. Also when it comes to hosting stages and events, Guerilla Bass Records has got you covered. Besides his own label, MAC-V has been releasing his music through other labels too. Next Phase Records (NL), Vivid Recordings (US), Monochrome Recordings (PL), Danger Chamber (UK) and Hangry Records (UK) are some of them. MAC-V, which originally stands for Military Assistance Command-Vietnam (a US backed special forces group during the Vietnam war), is obviously inspired by war and it's dark, aggressive ways. Hardcore Junglizm! Although the music he makes and mixes is armed with speaker-bombs and dancefloor grenades, his objective is to bring people together. Sharing nothing but love like the hippies did in the late sixties. MAC-V comes in peace!
